Oak House is situated in the small miner’s town of Cullinan, just North of Pretoria. Surrounded with many natural beauties such as the lovely Jacaranda trees and a variety of historic buildings, the town and Oak House has plenty to offer it’s customers. With Oak House being the second house built in 1904, the atmosphere and ambience of the old sandstone building is jaw dropping. 

Oak House as know today started of as an idea to revamp the existing guesthouse and create a venue to compliment the stylish and beautiful original general manager’s house. The dream came true in early 2010 when Oak House venue was opened and hosted its first wedding, with many other functions that followed. The dream to create an environment filled with a true South African history and to create a total wedding destination, where a bride & groom will receive the best service before and on the day planned for months in advance, came alive when Oak House opened its doors.

Our small but very capable team will ensure that you receive only the best service, advice and treatment right through from the first viewing until the morning after your wedding at the breakfast table. We offer a variety of services and packages to choose from. Because we are still a very new wedding venue, we encourage bridal couples to schedule a meeting and discuss how we can personalize the wedding, packages, menus and invoices to suite your style, ideas and budget. 

We offer a all inclusive viewing of Oak House and surroundings, we will show you the very famous Sir Herbert Baker designed Anglican Church, which we make use of for the wedding ceremonies, several stunning sites for breathtaking photos, and the off course our guesthouse and wedding venue.
